Julia Beyer Agostini was born in Paris in 1992. Her experimental videos have been shown in Argentina, Venezuela and New York. Initially working in cultural journalism, in 2016, she moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she worked in film distribution and production for film festivals. In 2024, she started working for the national office of the Directors Guild of Canada in Toronto. In 2021, she founded "Archivos Compartidos," a showcase for experimental shorts in Buenos Aires. "Some sardines" (“Unas sardinas”), her first live action short film, premiered at the 23rd Los Angeles Latino Film Festival (LALIFF) in 2024.
