Experimental short film
Regarde le nom des rues is a series of poetic videos that illustrates a daytime slumber, a conscious vacillation state, a fleeting inconvenience that invites imaginary. It refers to one of my memory: those ungrateful minutes following the wake of a nap in an unfamiliar bedroom. There, the light of the sun entered the room through the shutters, letting me imagine the nice afternoon I had lost. This is the first Chapter.

Once I had a dream where my sister kept saying to me :
“This is not a dream
This is not a dream
This is not a dream”
I’m so angry at the past it’s hard to smile on Mondays
This world makes me feel clumsy ; I never know where to sit in the metro
Heaven got me a gift last week and that was your skin
All those freckles I used to lick, tasty as a sin
I wish I could have met you by the yellow river where everybody says the grass is greener
But you disagreed when you came back earlier
Cold hedgehogs will never be warm
Cold hedgehogs will never be warm again
Cold hedgehogs will never be warm again because they can’t handle the pain
God is war
Loneliness woke me up this morning
I need some light on me
Where would I be now if you were born, little brother?
And who would I be?
For my birthday I sat six hours on a bus by myself and thought about all the lizards dying in stranger’s swimming pools
